We have another look at the latest numbers for physical game sales in Japan, courtesy of Famitsu, and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition has put up a pretty good fight in its debut week.
The Switch 2 release dodge rolled onto the podium right from the jump, shifting 27,604 copies. It wasn't quite enough to get that 'Great Enemy Felled' message, though, as the reigning champ, Rhythm Heaven Groove, snatched up another victory.
The chart is awash with new releases this week, with Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 on PS5, Switch 2 and Switch 1 landing in third, sixth and eighth respectively, and Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster making its Switch 2 debut in seventh.
