Most mods for The Blood of Dawnwalker focus on introducing gameplay changes to address some of the game’s more controversial design choices and quality-of-life additions to improve the overall experience. As is often the case, mods for The Blood of Dawnwalker are only available for the PC version of the game.
The biggest gripe a lot of players have with The Blood of Dawnwalker is the 30-day time limit of the main quest and the fact that unlocking skills progresses time. This mod fixes both of those problems.
The mod is made to be modular. So, if you don’t want to increase the day and night time segments, for example, you can only choose the 90 Day increase module and the removal of the time segment cost of acquiring skills, and everything will work correctly.
By default, cutscenes in The Blood of Dawnwalker are capped at 30 FPS. This mod removes that limit by making the cutscenes and menus completely uncapped. Optionally, you can impose your own FPS limits according to your monitor settings in the mod’s .ini file.
Natural Image Fix reduces the aggressive sharpness filter applied to The Blood of Dawnwalker by a lot, vastly improving the quality of the game image. I’ve tested a few other mods that do the same thing, but this is the one I’ve had the most success with.
