You can get Phial of Ambrus's blood by completing Lost Blood and Just a Bit More quests in The Blood of Dawnwalker. The phial contains powerful blood that belongs to the Boyar, and drinking it unlocks new abilities for Coen. Here's where to find some of Ambrus's blood in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
There are two quests you can complete to get the Phial of Ambrus's blood in The Blood of Dawnwalker; Lost Blood and Xanthe's Recruiters: Just a Bit More.
Investigate the broken blood barrels located north of Pilgrim's Trail Shrine to start the Lost Blood quest. Follow the trail of blood to enter a cave with a mad Murohn boss.
Defeat the enemy to get a Phial of Ambrus's blood by looting it off their body. The Lost Blood quest doesn't end here, as Coen can read a letter and head to Svartrau City to complete it.
Head south of Svartrau City to start Xanthe's Recruiters: Just a Bit More quest. It's not too complicated as there's a couple of enemies guarding the blood instead of the usual groups you find at outposts. Kill all the enemies and approach the box, only to be interrupted by the Blood Addict. You can kill him or spare him, it doesn't matter.
Approach the box and choose to collect the Vrakhiri blood for 3 hours. The Xanthe's Recruiters: Just a Bit More quest is complete, and Coen gets a Phial of Ambrus's Blood.
Drinking a Phial of Ambrus's Blood increases Coen's Corruption level significantly. Additionally, you unlock the Scarlet Shield ability in the Vampirism skill tree. The passive ability grants you a chance of health restoration right after blocking.
Restore 20% of Health Segment after Perfect Block. 20% chance to also trigger after Directional Block and 10% after Omniblock.
