As gamers, we live in a world where it sometimes feels like we've kind of maxed out our setups. Sure, more powerful, new consoles come and go, and bumps in TV screen resolution give us the upgrade itch every now and then. Even so, everything also just kind of feels incremental at times. The massive leaps of the PS2 to PS3 don't exist anymore, as exciting as those days used to be.
That's why I get particularly excited about new tech that feels like a shift. I experienced it with VR as someone who was a firm believer in both of PlayStation's headsets so far. Now, I've experienced this feeling again with VITURE's Pro 2 XR Glasses. I'd always been curious about the world of XR (extended reality), but had never personally experienced it. And now... yeah, I'm all in.
Admittedly, I obviously don't have the context of other XR glasses to compare and contrast to from personal use, so if you're coming here looking for in-depth side-by-sides, I won't really have that for you. But what I do know is that the Pro 2 is an amazing product at a more than approachable price point. If you're looking for some new tech to be excited about that you're actually going to use, let me tell you more.
The boring stuff first, though. Whenever ordering anything online these days, the shipping process can be an anxiety point. As such, I think it's important to let you know that between two total packages sent to me by VITURE, both were contained in very sturdy boxes, and everything made it to my front door safe and sound. The packages, though bright blue and labeled, are also fairly innocuous, which is good if they end up sitting outside for a minute before you can retrieve them.
Inside the boxes, everything is wrapped nice and snug with bubble wrap, and each individual product case is also premium-feeling, giving the impression of opening a new smartphone box, or something else of a similar sort.
The glasses themselves come inside of a hard-shell travel case, so no need to go out of your way to order something extra (much appreciated these days). You'll also get a collection of different nosepads for the glasses, which you will want to swap between and test out to see what fits your face best, because proper fit also translates to the best visual experience inside the glasses as well.
Basically, everything you need is here between the case, included cables, extra nosepads, lens cloth, and all product instructions/information. Not every company actually gives you everything you need to get started immediately these days, so shoutout to VITURE in this regard.
