Marvel Rivals prides itself on being a game where everyone can play as their favorite heroes and have a pretty good time. That being said, it's obvious that some heroes are more powerful than others, and there have been a few heroes in the game that have remained fairly subpar for quite a long time.
Black Widow was the face of the F-tier Marvel Rivals character before her massive glowup in Season 9, so now the mantle of "worst DPS" is shared by a few characters, those being Squirrel Girl, Iron Man, Mister Fantastic, and Scarlet Witch. All four of them are firmly in the One Below All category, but the latter may actually escape in Season 10 if her new rework is successful.
While not as massive as Black Widow's rework, Scarlet Witch is still getting some pretty significant changes to how her kit works next season. One of the biggest is the existence of Chaos Marks, which can now be applied to opponents and essentially allow Scarlet Witch to attack more enemies at once.
Scarlet Witch will now lock onto any enemy with a Chaos Mark above their heads with her primary fire, meaning she can now attack multiple enemies at once. Her Dark Seal will now apply a Chaos Mark, while she'll also be getting a new ability called Scarlet Hex, which is a big shockwave which applies a Chaos Mark to all enemies hit by it.
On top of that, any enemy that Scarlet Witch attacks that has a Chaos Mark will grant her bonus health, making her a lot beefier. So, that's an increase to her attack power, and to her survivability. But wait, there's more.
Scarlet Witch's ultimate, arguably one of the worst in the game, is getting a small change too. In Season 10, the tendrils that latch onto nearby players when Scarlet Witch uses her ult will damage enemies as well as slow them down and pull them in, making it a little bit more lethal and spreading the damage outside the atomic bomb that she detonates.
They're interesting changes, and, hopefully, will actually make her a bit of a force on the battlefield outside quickplay and the metal ranks in competitive. At the very least, it should bring her in line with some of the other less busted DPS characters, and get her out of the D-tier jail that she's routinely placed in when the tier lists start dropping next season.
