If you're a fan of the Halloween movies, you'll know that Halloween: The Game follows the storyline of the original 1978 John Carpenter movie. When you play Michael's story and get into chapter 4, the game really rewards you for following the plot. All the challenges for the chapter are a sequence of events you see in the movie and give you personalization options when you complete them. If you're less familiar, you may not know exactly which other little triggers will complete the final challenge for you.
There are three phases to completing the chapter as the movie concludes. Through them, you will need to be patient and do things at the right time. Annie is your first segment of the chapter, waiting for the right moments to strike. The second phase involves making the right choices with Lynda and Bob. At the end of the chapter, the way Michael chases Laurie matters. We have all the details:
To start, go to the Wallace house, and you'll see Annie. After the first cutscene, the first thing you'll want to do is find the Wallace's dog. To complete the chapter like the movie, you'll have to take him out (sorry, Lester) before Annie comes out of the back door to the detached laundry room so he doesn't give you away. Keep him on the opposite side of the house from the driveway and get to him quickly.
Once the dog has been taken care of and is out of sight, watch for Annie to come to the laundry room. Once she is inside, go to the outside door of the laundry room and lock her in. She will climb out of the window and go back inside to answer the phone.
As she answers the phone, there will be another cutscene. Your next step is to wait for her to get out to the car and strangle her from the back seat. Hide her in the closet, and you can be done with Annie, moving on to your next targets.
The cutscenes won't trigger if Michael is in a hiding place like a closet or car.
Bob and Lynda will appear as soon as you have your previous body hidden. Michael's next focus is taking out this happy couple.
This sequence of events has to happen in this specific order, or you will not be able to complete the challenge.
