The three-day concert will run through March 21 at Yokohama Buntai, creating an obvious opportunity for the next substantial update on Persona 6.
There is plenty of precedent for paying attention to the next Persona Super Live. Atlus used the 2015 edition of the event to premiere Persona 5's first gameplay trailer, while its 2017 iteration featured reveals for Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and Persona Q2. Persona Super Live 2027 therefore stands out as a plausible venue for the game's next substantial presentation, whether that takes the form of gameplay, character reveals, a deeper story overview, or new release information.
The choice of Yokohama as the venue for the 2027 edition of Persona Super Live is particularly interesting given years' worth of rumors that the sixth series entry will take place precisely in Yokohama. The first to claim that was the now-disgraced leaker Midori in a long-deleted tweet posted on May 29, 2024, which stated that Persona 6 was drawing inspiration from a limited-edition Yokohama Monopoly game.
Almost exactly two years later, on May 28, 2026, a new batch of alleged Persona 6 concept and production artwork leaked from China, reportedly originating from a studio to which Atlus had outsourced some development work. One image from the batch depicted a railway platform bearing a striking resemblance to Sakuragicho Station in Yokohama, lending further circumstantial support to the long-running setting rumors.
