GTA 6 fans have been bombarding a nudist resort in Florida with fake reviews because a similar location is expected to appear in the game.
The now-infamous GTA 6 leaks back in August revealed a number of elements about Rockstar’s long-awaited sequel, before their own Extended Look on Netflix. It gave fans an unofficial glimpse at the combat as well as Vice City itself.
One of the areas the leaker visited in the footage was a nudist resort, which, as you’d expect, was full of NPCs wearing no clothes.
Well, fans have managed to find the real-life place that may have inspired the location, Cypress Cove Nudist Resort, and they’ve been spamming the resort with reviews.
Although a number of posts have been deleted, if you search for the retreat on Google and go to the reviews section, you’ll see plenty of messages with not-so-subtle nods to GTA 6.
“Will be trying to book a reservation on Nov. 19th. I will be playing GTA 6 for 3 days straight while nude in my RV,” reads one.
“I was troubled to hear about the incident that occurred in August,” referencing the carnage caused by the leaker when he visited the area in-game.
However, the owner has replied to a handful of posts to help real guests distinguish which are real reviews and which are jokes.
