Ann Takamaki is one of the first Phantom Thieves you recruit in Persona 5 Royal. When Joker, Ryuji, and Morgana storm in to change the heart of Suguru Kamoshida, a power-hungry and abusive volleyball coach at Shujin Academy, Ann finds the strength to step up and join them.

So, with that in mind, we've updated this guide to be the best it can be with new information on Ann's availability and how to unlock her third awakening!
When Joker heads back into Kamoshida's palace with Ryuji on 4/15, Ann secretly follows them and awakens her persona. Because of this, Ann's confidant in Persona 5 Royal also begins on 4/15. That said, because of events that I won't go into for spoiler reasons, you won't actually be able to hang out with her until after Kamoshida's palace is dealt with.
Ann can be found in the Shibuya Underground Mall and is available to hang out after school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, during the day on Sunday, and anytime it's raining.
Since she has a bit more availability than most, it's best to check with confidants who are only available on specific days of the week first and visit Ann when others are busy.
Like the rest of the confidants in Persona 5 Royal, Ann's confidant ranking up will give her new abilities at almost every rank. As a Phantom Thief, the abilities she gains through your friendship are all applicable in battle.
Ann has a chance to step in when a Shadow negotiation fails, allowing you a second try.
