Minecraft Dungeons 2 made a big change to enchantments from the first game. There are still plenty of them to get for your gear, but now they don't randomly roll on drops. Enchantments come from books you find throughout the game and can be used an unlimited number of times. This guide will give all the details of every Enchantment in Minecraft Dungeons 2 and how to get them.
Enchantments are separate from "Effects". Enchantments have to be added to gear through Enchantment Books, while Effects randomly roll on gear.
To enchant gear, you must go to the Enchantsmith in any major town, such as Brave Haven. Once you talk to him, you can select a weapon or armor piece, then choose from any unlocked Enchantments. Only certain Enchantments can be applied to weapons, the same as armor. You cannot enchant cloaks in Minecraft Dungeons 2 because they are cosmetic only.
You need to have Echo Shards and Enhancement Points to apply enchants at each level (1/2/3).
When you want to Enchant a new piece of gear, and are done with the old one, you can disenchant to get Enchantment Points back. You will keep the gear you disenchant, so don't worry. If you don't want the old piece of gear, you can safely salvage it to also get your enchantment points back.
Below are two tables, separated into weapons and armor, that list every Enchantment in the game and what they do at each Enchantment level. You can raise the max potential Enchantment level by spending Echo Shards to upgrade the Enchantsmith.
