As Capcom promised, the biggest ever update for Dragon's Dogma 2 is available to download now on PS5.
And when I write 'biggest', I don't just mean that it's packing the most improvements; this thing is 48GB in terms of file size.
To be fair, update 3.2 basically rewrites the game, ahead of the Dark Arisen expansion which launches on the 9th October.
It introduces sweeping changes across multiple facets of gameplay, adjusting combat balancing, pawn behaviour, enemy behaviour, and large parts of the user interface.
It also features overall engine optimisations and performance improvements, meaning that the open world RPG's frame rate issues could be a thing of the past.
Although the patch notes aren't new — Capcom released them months ago — they're still well worth checking out if you want to understand the scale of this update.
Optimization, Performance Improvements, and System Requirement Changes
Added a function to skip the opening part of the story when replaying the game.
