Little Red is a short optional quest in The Witcher 3 that takes place in the village of Yantra, southwest of Bowdon. If you travel there and cannot find the quest, try meditating and aim to arrive around noon. The quest later on requires you to wait until dusk before things progress, so starting earlier gives you enough time to prepare and avoid waiting around for too long.
Once Geralt spots a group of villagers gathered together, approach them to learn about their situation. They will ask for your help, explaining that Little Red and her gang are planning to attack the village because Bertram, one of the villagers, informed the witch hunters about her gang.
You can agree to help the villagers, which requires you to wait until dusk for the bandits to arrive. Meditate until 6 PM, then look around the village entrance to spot the group approaching the houses. Ignore the other bandits for now, as you cannot attack them yet, and approach Little Red.
If you tell Little Red that you cannot allow her to hurt the villagers, she will explain her side of the story. According to her, Bertram made a deal with her six months ago and agreed to give her a share. However, he eventually became greedy and demanded more. When Little Red refused, Bertram informed the witch hunters about her gang, resulting in the deaths of many of her men.
If you choose to let her kill Bertram, Geralt will step aside, allowing Little Red to kill him quickly without involving the other villagers. She will reward Geralt with 20 Crowns for understanding her situation, and the Little Red quest will end with some XP.
If you choose to fight Little Red and her gang, you will discover that she is actually a Werewolf. Fighting her alongside the other gang members can be difficult, especially if you get surrounded.
Try to lure enemies away from one another so you do not have to fight everyone at once. You can also use Quen to protect yourself if you feel overwhelmed.
Once you kill everyone, Bertram will appear, and Geralt will question why he did not mention that Little Red was a Werewolf. Bertram will reward Geralt with 10 Crowns for helping the villagers, and the quest will end. This option also grants more XP than allowing Little Red to kill Bertram.
