Rockstar Games has shared more about the open world of Leonida you can explore in GTA 6 from 19th November 2026 by way of a new Game Informer magazine issue containing new screenshots and information.
First off, let's get the newest images in front of you. Here are 13 more GTA 6 screenshots:
Some of the images have a more relaxed tone and focus, with shots of the city or more rural areas containing colourful foliage and wildlife. Planes feature a lot, and there are different weather scenes in the sky. Jason and Lucia can also be seen chilling on the beach as someone with a USA flag runs by.
There are also a handful of action-packed screenshots, as Lucia hides behind cover, Jason seemingly escapes a biker gang, and Jason again appears to have sneaked into a shop.
Weather seems to be a big focus in GTA 6, as Rockstar tells Game Informer that an evolution of the Red Dead Redemption 2 weather system is present in its next game. Rain will create rainbows and puddles, and you'll notice the wet surfaces it leaves behind long after a rain shower.
The world map will have six regions:
Within those regions, you'll encounter 170 different types of wildlife, of which 60 are types of bird, another 30 are land mammals, and more. The map overall is said to be twice the size of GTA 5 and much denser. Side activities include the following:
