October’s Monthly Games lineup will be available to download from October 6, and each title comes with a little something different, so everyone can have the gaming Halloween they want. Members can also claim a variety of exclusive Halloween DLC packs throughout the month, giving this update for users a stronger spooky theme than usual.
Dressing up as a race-car driver this year? Well, F1 25 speeds to the front of the lineup on PS5 to get you into character. This official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship expanded their Career modes and introduced My Team 2.0, along with squad‑based multiplayer in F1 World to exercise the online capabilities of your subscription.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 rounds out the lineup on PS5 and PS4. The voxel‑styled bug blast, maintains the chaos of the core franchise. While redesigned versions of classic enemies, alongside four‑unit squad gameplay with full co‑op functionality across both platforms, provide easy turn-your-brain off chaos for all ages.
On October 7th, PlayStation Plus members will also receive in Overwatch 2, Dragur Reinhardt, plus 5 Tier Skips Pack. Meanwhile, the Call of Duty: Warzone Horror Bundle arrives on October 1. Both packs sit alongside the October lineup to add more variety to the Halloween offerings, and for players who spend time in these games regularly, they are must‑redeem bonuses.
Sony is also releasing limited‑edition Spider‑Man: Brand New Day avatars on October 6 through Sony Pictures Core. PlayStation Plus members can claim them at no extra cost, while non‑members can unlock them by purchasing the film through the app.
Members have until October 5 to add September’s lineup to their library, which includes Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes.
