As more of you finish Star Wars Zero Company, you're no doubt finding that there isn't much you can do afterwards. We have something resembling a new game plus mode, but it doesn't change your next run all that much, prompting many fans to call on the devs to give us some kind of update that lets us play beyond the credits.
Given that it's unclear whether the developers actually have jobs or not right now, it doesn't seem likely that we're getting anything like that in an update anytime soon. However, a fan has stepped up, creating their own expansive DLC that lets you dive right back into the combat once you've finished the game, and even unlock new operators.
"Zero Company rolls credits the moment Fathom goes down. Aftermath turns that ending into a beginning," reads the mod's description. "The Den stays open, the galaxy keeps turning, and there are a hundred rounds of work left."
Practically speaking, this mod makes it so you can once again access all of the features in The Den after the game ends. This includes 48 skirmish missions, which modder Cafiso has actually rewritten to fit in with the fact that they are now being played in the post-game. There will even be more Coil crisis pop-ups every five cycles.
On top of all that, you get access to four new operators - or, rather, returning operators, in some cases:
If you want to give it a go, make sure you follow the instructions carefully. Basically, don't install it until you're on the final mission, and then play normally for it to trigger. If you install it mid-playthrough, the fact that it rewrites some missions could get in the way of your run.
There are a bunch of other mods available if you're looking for more ways to keep everything fresh. Right now, one of the most popular mods lets you take six operators out on missions, instead of us four.
