Once you reach Novice Level 50 in Aion 2, you can tackle Korius’ upgrade quest and further boost your Essence Extraction Proficiency by finding and delivering a Splendent Ruby to him.
But don’t worry, getting the gem won’t require going through a life-or-death encounter or embarking on a day-long grind. Instead, it will be all about having a bit of luck. Here’s its location and how to get the Splendent Ruby in Aion 2.
You can get the Splendent Ruby in Aion 2 as a rare drop by mining Ruby veins across Kibelisk. The best location to find the resource? South of the Garden of the Illusion God Observatory, where you can find multiple veins close to one another. The spot was also where I managed to find it during my time with the quest.
With the Splendent Ruby at hand, return to Korius at the Dawn Legion Base to complete the [Upgrade] Essence Extraction Specialty quest, claim your rewards, and unlock the Professional tier.
As you have most likely gathered a good amount of Ruby Gemstones while mining, you can check out all of the non-transfer handicrafting and alchemy recipes the resource can be used for in Aion 2 below. Just remember, all Splendent variants can only be crafted via Crafting Bonuses.
With the Splendent Ruby taken care of, make sure to also take a look at all pets in Aion 2 & how to get them.
