There are 5 boss fights in Marvel's Wolverine, where the titular "best there is at what he does" will have to embed his claws in some iconic and familiar villains. There will be major spoilers revealed for the boss fights, so if you want to go into the game surprised, it's best to look away now and come back if you need help fighting one of them!
Omega Red is Wolverine's first major challenger, and this is where you need to understand the importance of parrying. Blue-highlighted attacks (and yellow ones) can be parried, which builds Omega Red's Stagger bar that will make him stunned for your attacks.
Focus on the parry and make sure you dodge the red-aura attacks from when he starts to throw things with his tendrils. With enough slashing, he'll soon fall, but don't be fooled, Omega Red has a second phase!
The second phase is familiar, but a tad more aggressive in terms of his combos and patterns. Just make sure you're ready for a dodge or a parry and land a few claw strikes when it's safe to do so.
Wolverine will come across a Sentinel Prototype that needs hacking and slashing to pieces. The Sentinel will shoot lasers from its eyes and ground pound, so make sure you know when to sprint and when to dodge.
For damage, watch for when its arm comes down and stays down for you to attack and expose the wires, which will allow you to build Stagger so you can cause serious damage. When its arms are both close to its body, you can occasionally hit R1 to instantly Stagger it thanks to Mystique.
At around 50% health, the boss fight will take you outside, where Sabretooth and Mystique will both help you. The attack method is roughly the same, but there's an occasional rocket barrage that will force you to sprint to safety.
