Final Fantasy VII Revelation’s release date is locked in for this April, and multiple versions of the game are coming with it, including an exorbitant Collector’s Edition.
The top tier of different editions has a lot in the box, including a promo card for Magic: The Gathering‘s Final Fantasy collab, but the big ticket here is an incredible-looking statue of Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth.
The statue isn’t massive, with Sephiroth standing just 7.9 inches and its base just 11 inches wide, but it looks like a must-have for Final Fantasy 7 enthusiasts. But you better be willing to fork over a lot of Gil, because this thing is on sale for $349.99. It’s one of the priciest collector’s editions I’ve seen.
“A premium statue featuring Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth, each captured in a striking and iconic pose,” the description reads. “From every angle, the statue reveals a unique expression and presence, creating a display piece that captivates from any perspective. Each character includes a wilderness-inspired diorama base, which can also be separated, allowing the statues to be displayed together as a dynamic scene or showcased individually.”
The announcement of the collector’s edition revealed details about the also-included Story Expansion Pass, which will feature two content drops: Story DLC 1 featuring Sephiroth, and Story DLC 2 featuring Vincent and the Turks. It also comes with a steelbook, reversible game cover, mini-soundtrack CD, and other digital content.
I’d absolutely love to have this statue adorn my mantle, but I can’t justify the price. I’m sure plenty of FF gamers will, though, and I’d expect this to sell out pretty quickly, so grab it now while you can if you’re interested.
FF7 Revelation launches on all platforms simultaneously on April 8, 2027, so no more waiting for PS5 exclusivity. Thank goodness for that.
