Fortnite Override - Best Landing Spots

Fortnite Override - Best Landing Spots

Fortnite Override adds new POIs and Landmarks, and some of them might benefit you enough to change the victor in the final storm circles. Depending on whether you want to hunt for Sprites through Cheat Codes or if you want the best start possible for a Victory Royale, we've experimented with what POIs are best to land at from the Battle Bus to determine what will give you the best game possible!

For smaller teams that want to avoid a fight, Chopped Shop is a great place to land. It's situated on the west cliff of the island, and has but a few small buildings to loot, but there's always a decent amount of chests that will get you geared up and ready without having to fend off multiple teams. You may encounter a rival or two here, since it's a good spot for locating Cheat Codes for Sprites.

The Battlewoods is a riskier area than Chopped Shop, but not a bad one for both fighting off rival teams and hunting Cheat Codes. There are usually a few Cheat Codes within the POI and its many buildings, and there's a chest for everyone as you explore. The close-together buildings and rooftops make for a great place to bunker down and control an entire POI until you're ready to move on.

In the southwest, you'll find Heatwave Harbor. This is a great location for staying away from the center, and for finding plenty of loot (and Cheat Codes) within its many buildings. While more suburban in design, you will want to stick to the interiors and rooftops of the buildings so that if anyone else lands here, you'll have an edge over them.

Cluster Coast has over 67 potential spawns for Cheat Codes, which is why you should land here if you want an opportunity to get those missing Sprites. Cluster Coast is great for Sprites, but it's also great for staying clear of other players and looting up for the final storm circles, as the buildings (and secret loot room) have everything you could need, especially since the southeast corner is far away from everyone else!

Wonkeeland is a tad more risky, and that's exactly why it's the perfect spot to drop to. Wonkeeland isn't the most popular choice to land at, so coming here will ensure you're going to be the only team here, but if someone else has the same idea, then you can utilize the ferris wheel for a height advantage and grab the many scattered chests to secure the loot and deal with them. Bunkering down at Wonkeeland is a great way to horde loot and ensure you have a safe POI for the incoming zones.

The direct south POI is Sunken Shores, which is covered in Tetris blocks that you can use as cover to protect yourself from invading players. Dropping to Sunken Shores is decent enough if you want a POI that has plenty of loot and cover, so if another team lands here, you'll know that the houses you're looting have all the weapons and protection you need to get the edge on them.

Stone Sanctum is a risky POI because it's right in the center and between two popular zones, Green Hill Zone and Reality's Reign. However, it's also home to the secret Temple Vault that will guarantee Cheat Codes and Rare Chests so you can get Epic and Legendary loot before other teams even find their first 8-Bit Shotgun! More people will come here than you expect, but the tall temple buildings and the many winding corridors ensure you can have the cover you need to lose them or catch them in a surprise attack.
