Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has several classes to choose from across five base types: Gladiators, Hunters, Soldiers, Cavalry/Fliers, and Mages. Each class comes with their own specialties, weapon types, and proficiencies. Even though there are plenty of classes available at the start, some extra ones can be unlocked depending on the path you play.
There are also some secret and special classes you can unlock much later in the game, so there are several options to choose from. This guide will give details on every class in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and how to unlock them.
Below are tables of each tier of classes in the game. Each section details the base class type, exam requirements, skill ranks, and the Master Ability. While it is possible to pass exams below the requirements, it is not recommended. If you fail, you will lose the License used to take the exam.
The Master Ability is an ability you get once you have fully leveled the class. It can be equipped even if you switch classes.
Beginner classes require level 5, Renown level 1, and a Beginner License. All Beginner classes are automatically unlocked.
