In addition to all of the proper Xbox Game Pass releases this week, we've also got a 10-hour free trial for EA Sports FC 27 as part of EA Play - which itself is included as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier.
The official release date for the FC 27 free trial is on Friday, September 18th. Early access for FC 27 is expected to begin at midnight local time on the 18th, and the free trial is set to go live at different times for certain regions.
EA states that the free trial will launch at 4am UTC, which equates to 9pm PDT / 12am EDT / 5am BST.

If you're reading this before early access has begun, you can pre-install FC 27 by using the Xbox app for Android and iOS. Link your console, search for the game on the app (specifically "EA Sports FC 27 Xbox Series X|S", not the Standard or Ultimate Edition), and then hit the "Install To" button.
When it comes to all the new bells and whistles, FC 27 introduces its first iteration of 'The Grounds', an all-new HUB area where players can plod around with their balls through football-themed streets, similar to that of NBA 2K's 'The City'. Compete in a variety of Clubs modes, build the ultimate player with Archetypes, and all the usual stuff.
Manager Live is a new way to experience FC 27's Career mode, adding objectives, time commitments, and challenges to freshen up the staple mode. Then, of course, EA's favourite child, Ultimate Team, returns once more to do its fair share of money-munching.
So, if you end up vibing with the trial, the Ultimate Edition is available on Friday, followed by the standard edition's release the subsequent Friday, September 25th.
