For FC 27, every Streamlined SBC will give you a minimum acceptable score, and every item that you submit for the Streamlined SBC will contribute a certain number of points based on its OVR rating. Some Streamlined SBCs may have additional requirements, such as including Gold items or including a certain number of players from a certain league, but mostly, you won't face position-specific rules. This means you can submit five goalkeepers for the SBC, and it will still be completely fine! Here's how it works.
As mentioned earlier, items will contribute to your Streamlined SBC points based on their OVR rating. All Bronze items will contribute only 20 points. This is 35 points for all Silver items, regardless of their overall rating. However, when it comes to Gold items, every OVR has a different contribution:
It's safe to say the contribution falls off significantly as the player's overall rating goes below 85. Of course, there will still be many Streamlined SBCs to burn your silver and bronze items, but bigger rewards will still require bigger sacrifices. The only upside here is that you are free of chemistry and quantity limitations for most Streamlined SBCs. And this will make squad building a lot easier, while also helping you get rid of duplicate items quickly.
So, let's say one Streamlined SBC sets a target score of 5,000. You can reach this amount by submitting fifty 76-rated items, or you can hit it by submitting one 87-rated item. It's all up to you. And this flexibility will make sacrifices less costly.
Keep in mind that the list above does not cover the special versions of items. It only shows the contribution score for the raw items. For example, if you submit a Road to the Knockouts version of an item, it will contribute significantly more score than its raw version. Since the special versions of cards will be released gradually, we can't predict how much they will contribute towards Streamlined SBCs.
Another factor that boosts a card's score towards a Streamlined SBC completion is its Holographic status. If you submit the Holographic version of a card, it will contribute more than its raw version, though the Holographic items share the same attributes as the raw version. This is one big benefit of Holographic items, besides their contribution towards gallery score.
Now, if a card has both bonuses, it will have a much bigger item score. Let's say you own a Team of the Week item and it is Holographic too. This item will contribute more points than the raw version, the TOTW version, and the Holographic version. That's because the bonuses from each status stack together.
Another big improvement that Streamlined SBCs have received is the ability to save your progress towards hitting the target score. Let's say there is a Streamlined SBC that requires 10,000 scores, but you only want to feed it with Silver or Bronze items. Of course, you may not have enough cards of these rarities to feed the Streamlined SBC at once. But you can submit as many as you can, and your score progression will be saved. Later on, when you collect more Silver or Bronze players, you can return to the Streamlined SBC and contribute more.
