IO Interactive has revealed some fresh content for Hitman: World of Assassination in the form of a new Elusive Target mission.
Available from 27th August to 26th September 2026, 'The Herbalist' features Dr. Cyrus Cane, a new target based on the likeness and voiceover work of rap legend Snoop Dogg, who apparently wasn't content with his upcoming appearance in Stranger Than Heaven. The mission will take place on the excellent Haven Island stage.
Current owners can access the new mission for free during its one-month availability, but a paid 'Herbalist Pack' is also dropping on 4th September for $7.99/€7.99/£6.99. This includes the following:

"It's definitely an honor to step into a franchise as legendary as HITMAN, with millions of fans. IO Interactive cooked up a truly fine mission, and bringing my son Cordell along for the ride? That's awesome. The final ingredient that’s missing is how much style the players are going to be able to bring, so let’s see what you can do against Dr. Cyrus Cane.”

We'll definitely be checking out the new mission when it drops – which is tomorrow, at the time of writing – and we've got our fingers crossed for even more wild cameos in the future.
