Moon Studios has delayed the version 1.0 release of action RPG No Rest for the Wicked from its previously planned October 2026 release window to March 2027. It will be available for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Xbox Series and Switch 2 versions will follow at a later date.
No Rest for the Wicked first launched in Early Access for PC on April 18, 2024.
According to Moon Studios, the additional development time will allow the team to “improve gameplay performance, tighten the class system, and polish the game to the standard it deserves.” It plans to hold additional closed beta tests in the months ahead, followed by an open beta in December.
Further updates will be provided via the ongoing “Wicked Inside” video developer diaries, in which the team “will share more details and nuances at the time and in the format that is most relevant to the game’s progress.”
Previously, Moon Studios also announced that early buyers would receive the “Founders Pack,” a special set of in-game items as thanks for their incredible support. The original cutoff date for purchasing the game and earning that “Founders Pack” was July 10, but with the delay, that cutoff date has now been moved to January 1, 2027 for PC players, with anyone who purchased after July 10 retroactively included. PlayStation 5 pre-orders will begin in January 2026, and also include the “Founders Pack.”
