Halloween: The Game puts players in either the shoes of the infamous killer, Michael Myers, or in the role of the Civilians of Haddonfield. While both have different objectives, each have an assortment of weapons to use. But which ones are the best? Here's a meta tier list ranking every weapon in Halloween: The Game.
This tier list will only rank items that exclusively function as weapons. Items like the Flare Gun, Flash Light, and Bolt Cutters are not included.
The Wood Axe is by far the best melee weapon for Michael, but can also be used by Civilians too. This weapon boasts excellent damage, can easily break down locked doors, and has better reach than most melee weapons.
The Pickaxe is usable by both Michael and Civilians, and just like the Wood Axe, is a strong contender in the meta. Just like the Wood Axe, the damage is fairly high, and its reach is far better than most other melee weapons.
The Sledgehammer is only available for Civilians, and is a must-use against Michael. The Sledgehammer is currently the only weapon capable of stunning Michael with a fully charged heavy hit, making it much easier to take him down or escape. Its attack speed is notably slower than other options though.
While much harder to get than other weapons, the Hunting Rifle may just be the best firearm in the game. Those skilled enough to land a shot on Michael's head with it can instantly down him. It is heavily reliant on accuracy, however.
This weapon is only usable by Civilians. As a firearm, it's easily one of the best, boasting six rounds by default and a faster fire rate than the two other options. Since Michael gets staggered by each shot, landing consistent blows up close is relatively easy, and it comes in handy when attempting to prevent Michael from killing other targets.
Serving as the final firearm in the game, the Shotgun is by far the best contender of all three when used strictly up close. It packs a punch, but relies on players closing the gap to Michael.
