The popcorn bucket for director Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil movie has been revealed and it’s in the form of an organ transplant bag.
Exhibitors AMC Theaters and Regal Cinemas both posted images of the popcorn bucket, er, bag to their respective social media feeds Tuesday when announcing that tickets are now on sale for the video game movie adaptation.
“One Job: Deliver the Popcorn! See RESIDENT EVIL and purchase our concession collectible starting 9/17, available in theatres only while supplies last,” AMC wrote.
Not to be outdone, Regal posted: “Need a transplant? We recommend this popcorn bag 🫀🍿 Get your hands on the Resident Evil Organ Transplant Popcorn Bag when you see Resident Evil at Regal.”

The popcorn bag reveal comes on the heels today of Sony’s release of a new poster for Resident Evil.
Weapons and Barbarian director Zach Cregger has been busy promoting Resident Evil with his main actor Austin Abrams. Cregger recently revealed that Abrams nearly died while they were shooting one particular zombie scene.
