Geralt faces his greatest challenge yet: banking. The Paperchase quest in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine is as comedic as it is relatably frustrating, but try not to lose your temper as Geralt, as you might get yourself banned from the bank, lose out on your 500 Crowns reward, and miss the exclusive steel sword, The Reckoner! Within Beauclair, you'll find the Vineyard Owner near Trentin's Workshop (the blacksmith), as shown on the map above. Speak with the Vineyard Owner, who will explain that he's opened an account in Geralt's name in the Cianfanelli Bank, and it's time to collect the earnings (with interest).
Now, just head to Cianfanelli Bank, which is located at the Gran'place, and you'll be able to start this quest that involves plenty of talking, waiting, and perhaps some Gwent. Just make sure you arrive at the bank at 8 AM, as that's when it opens, and speak to the woman in the middle booth, who tells you to get Permit A38.
The lady in the booth tells you to visit Window 1 to get Permit A38, but when you arrive, she tells you to check the records or the archives, as she doesn't know which. The correct answer is the records, so head upstairs and push past the queue to enter the room and speak with the man, who then tells you to get Form 202.
When you leave the room, a man will demand that you fight him outside, regardless of your dialogue choices. You can get 100 XP if you win, but losing won't impact the quest, although it might embarrass Geralt. Return to Window 1, and you'll find the woman missing, so you'll need to track her with Witcher Senses back to the middle booth where you were originally told to get Permit A38.
The woman is on a break, so you're forced to sit down and wait on a bench. It's here where you can play Gwent to pass the time, and you can bet a maximum of 25 Crowns. Win or lose, you won't get a Gwent card, but you will get some advice: be polite and make the clerk's day by giving her flowers or perfume.
You will have an optional objective to get perfume and flowers from the nearby alchemy shop, but you don't need to do either of these things, as speaking with the woman and simply complimenting her will grant 50 XP and get her to speak with her manager, Giacomo Cianfanelli.
When Geralt is led to the vault to open his deposit box, he finds it empty, and Giacomo Cianfanelli confesses that they used the coin to invest in other properties. Geralt is now faced with two options:
