Sanrio and Taito announced the fourth installment of plush toys that pair up Cardcaptor Sakura with the mascot characters and confirmed Kuromi and Tuxedosam are her next partners. This series consists of four options, and they’ll appear in Japanese arcades at the end of September 2026. While we’ve seen Taito’s figures of Sakura Kinomoto appear worldwide before, it’s unknown if these plush will also eventually show up in stores like Amazon.
Each of these plush mascots is just under five inches tall (12cm). They also have a ball-chain keychain at the top for displaying them or using them as a plush pendant on a bag. Sakura and Kuromi each wear the costume she had on for episode 4 of the Clear Card arc. For the Tuxedosam look, both characters are wearing her outfit from episode 11 from that anime adaptation. Sakura also gets a hairclip that looks like the penguin and Kuromi’s ears for her plush.

This is a regular series of plush keychains that often shows up in Taito crane games and Japanese arcades. For example, in December 2025 we saw a collection that included Sakura paired up with Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin as her partners. Past installments also featured characters like Hello Kitty, Keroppi, and Pochacco dressed up like Sakura.
The Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card x Sanrio Characters plush mascot volume four collection with Kuromi and Tuxedosam will debut in Japan before September 2026 ends. It’s unknown when or if we’ll see them everywhere. Kodansha handles that arc of the manga storyline worldwide, and it seems Disney will be getting the anime streaming next.
