An extraordinary collaboration is happening between the most unlikely of allies: IKEA x Skyrim have released a special Collaboration Mod known as Kallax Storageborn.
A companion crafted out of your wildest meme dreams, Kallax is basically a portable shelf to store all of your loot obtained through dubious methods (mostly pilfered from bandit lairs and Draugr tombs). If you want to know how to add this free new content to Skyrim, then check out this guide.
Kallax Storageborn is a fully voiced companion that players can acquire by completing a series of prerequisites in Skyrim. The first step players need to take to recruit this new companion is to download the official IKEA Collaboration Mod, next you need to open the Creations Menu in the game's main menu, then browse through all your mods or search for Kallax Storageborn to activate it.
Now, for the in-game part of the process, there are two ways to activate the quest.
Any of the prior steps will unlock a new location on the map: Storereach, and players will have to travel there to begin "assembling" your new companion.
Storereach looks like your usual Dwemer ruin, only that there are a lot of shelves around, as well as an unhealthy number of Skeevers. After dealing with some of the giant rants, there's a bunch of loot next to a fireplace. Pick it up to reveal a set of stairs that lead to an elevator players need to use to reach the second level. Take the elevator platform by pulling the lever, and you'll access a hilarious replica of an IKEA shop in Skyrim.
Once there, navigate to the workshop area following the shelves and killing more Skeevers. Take a look around if you want to unlock some ridiculously funny dialogue by interacting with the spheres with weird names.
Next, continue following the shelf labyrinth until you reach a door. Open it to pick up the KALLAX Assembly Manual, the Mysterious Soul Stone, and the Staff of Assembly.
