Naruto and Sasuke are two of the most important creations of Masashi Kishimoto, the original creator of the Naruto series. After a 2-month-long wait, Boruto finally returned and continued the new post-Mamushi arc. In it, we got the creation of a new duo that far surpasses Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, and this duo is none other than Boruto and Sarada. In the previous chapter of the series, we saw Code kidnap Sarada Uchiha and take her directly to the hideout of the Shinju. The original plan was to use Sarada as bait to have Boruto sacrifice himself or give himself up to the Shinju, whom they would then go on to have tabs on forever. However, things haven't gone to plan for Code. Now, Hidari is standing in his way, leading to direct conflict between the two, and Sarada Uchiha herself has set up a pathway for Boruto Uzumaki to come to her aid.

Now, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter #37 has officially set up the pathway for the young Uzumaki to teleport to the hideout of the Shinju and for the two to team up against Code and Hidari at the same time. This means Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 38, which is set to be released on October 19, 2026, will see Boruto and Sarada form a tag team for the very first time and fight together against God-level enemies in Code and Hidari. In doing so, these two will officially surpass Naruto and Sasuke as the strongest duo in the entirety of the Naruto franchise.
Naruto and Sasuke were certainly some of the most important characters in the original series, and they were also among the strongest. These two went on to reach immense levels of power and received their greatest abilities in Naruto chapter 673, released officially on May 5, 2014, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 21. In the Boruto era, both Naruto and Sasuke still retained the vast majority of their powers and were incredibly efficient together, as seen when they fought Momoshiki Otsutsuki in the very first arc. However, since then, stronger enemies have shown up, and the new generation has gone on to reach very high levels by attaining new and overpowered abilities.
