Surreal narrative adventure game [AFANTASIA] to be published by Studio Sasanqua

Studio Sasanqua, which was established by Visions of Mana director Kenji Ozawa following the closure of NetEase Games‘ Ouka Studio, will publish Brazilian solo developer noidnoidnoid‘s surreal narrative adventure game [AFANTASIA], the company announced. It will be available for PC via Steam with English, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, amd Simplified Chinese language support. A release date was not announced.

At Studio Sasanqua, we strive to create games that combine a comfortable, enjoyable player experience with themes and ideas that naturally encourage players to reflect on their own experiences and emotions. We will bring that same philosophy to our publishing business, working alongside creators as a studio that understands firsthand the realities of game development.

Our team includes several members with experience in AAA game development. This means we are able to bring the insight and expertise gained from those large projects to smaller projects that could benefit from it. Founder and President Kenji Ozawa will be directly involved in the production of each title, in close collaboration with our partner developers.

Additionally, we believe firmly that promotion and marketing should be considered as important a part of the development process as any other.

“How can we improve the player experience?”

“How can we communicate the appeal of this game to the audience?”

These are the types of questions we will work closely with our partner developers to answer. By respecting each developer’s perspective and intentions, we aim to help the ideas behind their work reach players around the world.

We hope to announce our second publishing title later this year.
