All three games are now available to Nintendo Switch Online members as part of the NES library. Players without a subscription can also take advantage of a free 7-day Nintendo Switch Online trial, letting them check out the latest additions withoutcommitting to a membership. As gaming gets pricier, it's worth noting that the Nintendo Switch Online membership becomes more and more appealing, costing $19.99 per year for a standard membership and the upgrade Expansion Pack tier costing $49.99 per year.
The biggest addition is Ninja Gaiden 3: The Ancient Ship of Doom, the third and final entry in the classic Ninja Gaiden series on NES. Players once again take control of Ryu Hayabusa, the final member of the Dragon Clan, as he battles the forces of evil while investigating the circumstances surrounding Irene's death. The game continues the series' fast-paced action platforming, giving Ryu plenty of enemies to cut through as he works toward uncovering the truth.

Ikari Warriors is also joining the lineup, offering a very different kind of action game from Ninja Gaiden 3. Originally released on NES in 1987, the shooter puts players in control of Paul and Vince as they fight their way into an enemy base. Ammunition is limited, so players need to collect supplies dropped by defeated enemies while making use of power-ups. Tanks and helicopters can also be used to help push through the enemy forces.
The third addition is R.C. Pro-Am II, a 1992 sequel to the classic NES racing game. The game features 24 tracks where players compete against computer-controlled cars or another player, with up to two people able to race together. Items scattered around each course can improve a car's performance, while obstacles can quickly end a race. Players can also spend their winnings at the R.C. Model Shop to purchase parts and other upgrades.
R.C. Pro-Am II also adds a few extras beyond its standard races. Players can take part in the Tug O' Truck Challenge and The Drag Race to earn additional cash prizes and championship points. That gives the sequel a little more to offer than simply racing through its main collection of tracks, especially for players looking to get more out of one of the NES library's more unusual racing games.
