Facing powerful villains isn’t new to Naruto Uzumaki, as his lengthy story has seen him thrown into dangerous battles against some of the strongest enemies in the shinobi world. It goes without saying that Naruto has never backed down from facing the most dangerous villains, even after he became the Seventh Hokage in Boruto.
However, Naruto is not as strong as he was before, having lost Kurama and many of the abilities that once made him the strongest character in the franchise. As a result, several new villains in Boruto have become too powerful for Naruto to overcome, especially now that he remains sealed away in another dimension.
Fueled by Isshiki Otsutsuki’s will, Code longs to avenge the death of his personal God in Boruto. This means that Code wants to exterminate all the shinobi who wronged Isshiki, including Naruto, who contributed greatly to the Otsutsuki’s defeat.
While it seems impossible for Code to defeat Naruto in a one-on-one fight, doing so without his limiters wouldn’t be a problem. Now that Naruto has lost Kurama and can only realistically depend on Sage Mode, Code’s overwhelming strength, on top of his shinjutsu and the power-ups granted by the white karma seal, would provide him a significant advantage in battle.
Naruto’s adoptive son, Kawaki, has grown tremendously in power in Boruto. Not only does Kawaki have access to Isshiki Otsutsuki’s abilities, including the Kokugan and other accompanying shinjutsu, but he has also developed his own fighting style and become a formidable shinobi in his own right.
That’s not all, as Amado Sanzu has been helping Kawaki with his power progression, be it out of whether he wants to or not. Right now, Kawaki’s body has been heavily modified, allowing him to adjust its functions for maximum offense or defense in battle. That said, it comes as no surprise that Kawaki was able to seal Naruto in another dimension, considering how much his abilities have evolved.
