Low driven shots have long been one of the most overpowered shooting types in the EA Sports FC (formerly FIFA) series. While you can shoot normally, finesse it past a keeper by curling it into a corner, or use the relatively new power shot, sometimes just driving the shot at speed across the ground is your best option. In this guide, I'll explain how to score low driven shots in EA FC 27 so you can beat the keeper with ease and complete any challenges that might pop up throughout the year in the game's Ultimate Team mode.
To do a low driven shot, press B/Circle to power up your shot, and then press B/Circle again quickly afterwards. The second tap needs to be done immediately after you've released the button the first time. This can take a bit of practice to get the timing right, so I recommend using the training arena to keep practicing it in a stress-free environment.
For a low driven finesse shot, hold R1/RB and power up your shot, and then immediately press B/Circle again. This will give you a bit of extra curve on your shot, allowing you to curl it around the keeper into the bottom corner.
I find using the low driven finesse shot particularly useful if I'm cutting into the box from an angle and want to place a shot in the far corner. It allows me to still drive it with power into the corner, but just adds that bit of extra curve to take it past the keeper's reach.
A low driven power shot allows you to make the most of your player's shot power, while keeping the ball down. To do this, press and hold RB and LB/ R1 and L1 while powering up your shot with B/ Circle. Tap the shoot button again once you've powered up your shot to execute the low driven power shot.
Like a standard power shot, the action slows slightly as your player swings their leg back and brings it forward to strike the ball.

I'd highly recommend adding the Low Driven PlayStyle to your attacking players in Ultimate Team, especially when you have a challenge that requires you to score low driven shots. This can be the difference between completing the challenge in a few games, and it taking far longer. It's especially useful for players who don't use the move as often as a standard shot or a finesse shot.
