Fortnite Battle Royale’s ESRB rating has been updated to include “Suggestive Themes” after a wave of revealing skins and increasingly noticeable character physics caught players’ attention.
The game remains rated T for Teen, meaning its recommended age category has not changed. However, its official ESRB listing now includes “Lyrics, Suggestive Themes, Violence” alongside warnings for user interactions and in-game purchases.

The ESRB defines “Suggestive Themes” as “mild provocative references or materials.” Fortnite’s updated rating summary offers a more specific explanation for the new descriptor.
“Players can encounter a female character depicted with deep inner cleavage and lower breast exposure,” it reads.
The ESRB does not identify the character or mention Fortnite’s recently discovered jiggle physics, making it unclear which specific addition prompted the change. The same summary also points to song lyrics containing censored profanity and references to marijuana.
The updated rating follows several months of Fortnite players focusing on what they have labeled the game’s new wave of “thirst trap” skins.
Chlorophyll Ivy and High Tide Harley drew considerable attention when they arrived as part of Fortnite’s Hot Bat Summer event in July. Ivy’s swimsuit included visible underboob, while Harley wore a two-piece bikini. Both outfits were restricted to experiences rated T for Teen.
