While exploring the ancient ruins with Anca trying to find the Font of Life, Coen will be met by a tough decision in The Blood of Dawnwalker. There is just enough for one person to drink, so players must decide if Coen drinks from the Font of Life, leave it to Anca, or destroy the Font.

If Coen drinks from the Font of Life, he'll unlock the Font of Life perk and regenerate HP passively as a human, while Anca drinking from the Font of Life removes her 'sins' and she loses her witch abilities.
Right after inspecting the murals and what looks like a surgery table, Coen and Anca head deeper inside the ruins. A group of guardians will attack you, as they are guarding the Font of Life. Defeat them quickly and go through the door to finally see the myth become a reality in front of you.
While exploring the ancient ruins, you both discover the source of the Font of Life is actually warriors' blood. When a contestant dies in battle, they are taken to become a guardian and their blood is extracted. The blood is then poured into the 'Font of Life' and a ritual is cast to make the blood potent and effective. Anca is distraught after discovering this piece of information and seems hesitant about the Font of Life.
