Animal Crossing is getting a brand-new release in September from Bandai Namco, which has revealed a brand-new Creer Beaute Pon de Couleur makeup line based on the game series. The new arrival will mark the latest for the Animal Crossing series, which has received regular infusions of new merchandise and collectibles.
The last brand-new game to release in the Animal Crossing franchise was New Horizons, which arrived back in 2020. The game recently got a second life when Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launched earlier in 2026, but gamers are more than eager for a brand-new game to be announced. While they wait, however, there seems to be no shortage of merchandise to check out.
A new collection of multicolor powder makeup has been announced for Animal Crossing, with designs based upon some of the series' most-loved characters, like Isabelle and Tom Nook. The new release will launch in September. Twelve designs and colors in total are being released, with the line coming from Creer Beaute, which is a Bandai subset that specializes in makeup collections based upon iconic anime and games. The multicolor powder is designed to be worn on the face or on eyelids as eyeshadow, and is offered at an affordable price of 500 yen a piece, or roughly $3 USD. However, they will mostly be sold as gashapon, so buyers won't know which one they're going to get until they've finished their purchase. They will also be sold at drugstores in Japan, but it's not clear if they will also be blind boxed.
Outside of Japan, Animal Crossing fans may need to look to third-party reseller sites or proxy services to pick up these items. In some cases, Creer Beaute products have been offered online worldwide, but no announcement has been made as to whether that will be the case here. Would-be buyers should keep in mind that the price will likely be increased if they're sold online.

As mentioned, this is just the latest in new releases for Animal Crossing in 2026. The franchise kicked off the year by releasing an upgrade for Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Switch 2, which coincided with the game's 3.0 update for the original Switch that added new content. The Switch 2 upgrade improved the game's resolution and added a few small features, like a new megaphone and integration of the Switch 2's Joy-Con mouse controls. More recently, Animal Crossing got a new line of keychains in August. Like the upcoming makeup line, they're a gacha prize, so there's no way for a buyer to know they'll get the one they want, unless they're buying it second-hand.
While there has been some exciting Nintendo news lately, much of it has had to do with the Pokemon franchise, which has been celebrating its 30th anniversary. While any developments regarding new Animal Crossing games have been kept under wraps by Nintendo, that hasn't stopped gamers from continuing to push New Horizons to the limit as they terraform and decorate their islands. Whenever a new game is finally announced, the fanbase will likely be eagerly waiting.
