A simple puzzle, but we have the answer if you'd rather not guess.
There’s more to artwork in CONTROL Resonant than just looking at it. The art gallery in the Evacuation Zone houses a puzzle, which is a good opportunity to get an early-game stat boost.
Once you enter the Könstig gallery (which is Swedish for “weird”), you’ll find a note on the counter with the names of four paintings. You’ll also notice a painting with a strange icon above it, one that looks like a stylized keyhole. This means there’s a secret inside the area, so look around for some clues whenever you spot it in the wild.
Interacting with the lights in the room illuminates some of the artwork on the walls. Light the correct ones to get a prize. The riddle isn’t particularly difficult (and not nearly as challenging as the laundry room puzzle), but here is the solution if you don’t want to do it through trial and error.
You must find and light up the four paintings sold in the gallery: Journey, Windows, Thunder, and Tides. It just so happens there’s one on each display wall (how fortuitous!), so guessing is simpler. Here are the answers:
Once you’ve highlighted all four paintings, the secret wall will open, revealing a hidden room with lore and a high-value chest. Grab it and continue your adventures, though we highly recommend stopping by the Fault in the Evacuation Zone first. It’ll give you one of the most useful traversal abilities in the game, plus a Living Shard for your trouble. Head north toward the Railyard Street Station to find it.
