Dangerous Way is one of Freedom's main missions in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope DLC that will require Skif to save the missing group by finding the Water Drop artifact. Getting the artifact is important, as you won't be able to pass through the silver mercury anomaly without it. The Mercury anomaly is particularly problematic as it'll damage Skif by latching onto him with tendrils. The Dangerous Way quest is only available to players who sided with Mavka during "The Destructive Power of the Mind" main mission in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope.
Once you've finished the conversation with Barque during the Dangerous Way quest in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope, head to the objective marker, and you'll arrive in a room filled with Mercury anomalies. While avoiding getting hit by one of its tendrils, make sure to avoid stepping into puddles of Mercury on the ground.
If you're caught by Mercury's tendrils, simply shoot the base of each tendril locked onto you to escape it.
You'll need to head to the location marked on the map above. Simply head to the section marked above and examine the broken wall to meet Keel and Vanko, who are Barque's missing men. They'll mention how Skif needs to get through the Mercury using a special artifact to reach the explosives, and also hand him the Storage Key.
After talking to Keel and Vanko, players will need to head downstairs and take out all the enemies there. Once all the enemies are taken care of, head inside the shooting range area and open up the iron gate using the Storage Key.
After getting into the storage room, you'll need to climb the ladder to get to the upper floor. At the end of the corridor here, climb up the boxes and get on top of the pipes that run along the room. After walking across the pipes, jump across the gap and enter the open door to the left.
Inside the room, you'll spot the artifact hovering in the air next to the wall. You won't be able to reach the artifact by jumping, and instead will need to shoot it and move it to a better location. It's basically like playing pinball with the artifact.
