The "Luftgarde" DMR is one of the unique weapons added in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope DLC that players can get from the Iron Forest region. However, players will need to progress through a few quests to get the artifact needed to access the area with the weapon. Here's a complete guide to the location of the "Luftgarde" DMR and how players can acquire it.
Players can get the unique "Luftgarde" DMR in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope by heading to the building they exited at the end of the Distant Mirage main mission. The unmarked building is located in the southern part of the Iron Forest region (I've marked its location above).
Before you mark the location in your PDF and make your way towards it, you'll need to first get the Water Drop artifact by completing the Dangerous Way quest. This will allow players to pass through the Mercury anomaly wall, which is the main hindrance that separates you from getting the Luftgarde weapon in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope DLC.
After you're ready to grab the weapon, head to the location and enter the building.
After entering the building, turn left and head down the staircase. You'll need to descend another spiral staircase before reaching the catwalk of an underground monorail station. You'll need to head right of the catwalk and make sure to disable the Vortex anomaly by throwing a bolt into it.
Go through the door on the right side of the catwalk, and the wall of Mercury will open up, allowing you access to this secret room. Inside the room, you'll find the unique "Luftgarde" DMR on the table, alongside a SEVA suit.
