Yes, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is coming to follow up the first game with another Souls-life experience in a deadly world where you need martial arts to survive. Trying an early version of a game when there are still months before it's released means that you're going to run into glitches and issues, which I did. While it was frustrating at times, I could see the potential of the game through its flaws.
If Wo Long 2 was going to be released soon, I'd be worried about the performance given what I experienced. However, since there's some time left before release, I'm actually excited to see how it'll improve and change over the coming months. The historical setting and mythological elements blend together for a world that's beautiful to explore and filled with terrifying enemies.
Tutorials in any game tend to be hit or miss for me. Some games throw a lot of information at you right away, even if it's not relevant that early. Then, you have other games where you aren't given enough information about controls as you need it, so it's nice to find games that balance how you're introduced to the mechanics.

Wo Long 2's demo throws you right into the tutorial, which is spaced out in a way that you're given information as you need it, and never more than what you need at that time. You reach the chasm? Wall run tutorial comes up. About to fight an enemy that has a specific type of attack? Here's how to deal with that attack in a way that lets you avoid damage.
Of course, the tutorial is designed in a way that makes you encounter the specific situations you'll need to learn about. Luckily, the controls are straightforward and rather standard for Souls-like games. I feel like I would've been able to get through the opening section even without the tutorial pop-ups, and that's not a bad thing. There's no reason to try being unique in how you design default controls, and Wo Long 2 doesn't. I respect that.
It doesn't take long to appreciate the scenery of Wo Long 2. With the game aiming for a Q1 2027 release window, I don't imagine that aspects like the controls and leveling system will see many changes between now and then, aside from additional polish, if anything. I'm less certain about how the appearance of the zones I got to explore could change, along with the enemies and stories being told there. However, since this is a direct sequel to the first game, you might want to play Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty before Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is released.
