EA FC 27 is set to bring the usual host of updates over last year's entry, with refreshed team rosters, tweaks to the on-the-pitch gameplay, and additions to the Ultimate Team game mode. However, this year, we're also set to see an entirely new addition in the form of The Grounds, as well as some big changes to the increasingly popular Career mode. In this guide, I'll run you through all of the EA FC 27 release times and how to play early, including through the Companion App.
The official launch update post from EA has announced that console players can begin playing the game in early access at midnight in their time zone on September 18. This will be a regional launch, whereas PC players will have a simultaneous launch at 11:00pm UTC. This means that PC players in some regions might be able to start playing earlier than their console counterparts, but others in eastern time zones will have to wait a little bit later.
The standard edition of EA FC 27 will release at midnight on September 25 for console players, and 11:00 PM UTC as a simultaneous release for PC players. This is essentially the same as the early access, but just pushed back an entire week later as the early access period runs for seven days.
Even if you don't have early access to the game, Ultimate Team fans will still be able to start dipping their toes into the game mode through the companion and web apps, as they're already live at the time of writing this post.
EA has announced that the Web App will launch on September 16 at 17:00 UTC, with the mobile companion app releasing the following day (September 17) at 17:00 UTC. This is the best way for Ultimate Team fans to get a bit of a head start in setting up their team and completing SBCs.
