Umamusume horse girl Agnes Tachyon is getting a special collab that recreates her iconic monocle, and it’s just as eye-catching as it sounds.
Agnes Tachyon is one of the more unhinged horse girls in Umamusume, with the so-called researcher doing anything she can in pursuit of achieving the best speeds. While she’s often seen running around the track in her iconic oversized white lab coat, the mad scientist is also known for her more elegant Σ Experiment outfit.
This alternate 3-star variant gives Agnes Tachyon a classier look, kitting her out in a black-and-gold-trimmed coat that famously features a golden monocle. After all, nothing says ‘trust me’ like a scientist wearing a monocle, right?
Well, Umamusume fans in Japan will soon be able to grab a pair of glasses and a monocle inspired by Agnes Tachyon’s most refined appearance.
Kicking things off is the monocle itself, which costs ¥12,100 (around $77) and features laser engravings on the temple to recreate the lace pattern on Agnes’ sleeve. The design also features details based on her ear accessory, with a gold piece at the tip featuring the emblem from her outfit’s shoulder.
According to the translated store page, the monocle isn’t recommended for prescription lenses, so this product is more suitable for Agnes Tachyon cosplays. However, Uma fans can grab a pair of prescription glasses instead.
Just like the monocle, these gold-colored glasses also feature Agnes’ signature sleeve patterns and have been rounded off with designs from her ear and shoulder accessories. The glasses are a little pricier and will set fans back ¥16,500 (around $105), but those who purchase either will receive a mini Agnes Tachyon acrylic stand featuring newly drawn art.
