Onimusha: Way of the Sword has plenty of equipment enhancements for you to unlock on your journey, and you’ll be duly rewarded for your efforts. Not only do you need to unlock all enhancements to get the Dressed to Kill trophy, but each rise in level is also accompanied by bonus boosts.
In this guide, we will go through all proficiency upgrades and the materials you’ll need.
Our first proficiency upgrades are related to the clothing equipment you wear as the protagonist. The levels ups are divided across four separate proficiencies, with each offering ten upgrades.
To get the final upgrade, you’ll need 2 Hempen Cloth, 2 Cotton Cloth, 2 Leather, and 1 Fine Silk Cloth
You have five different proficiency upgrades for your sword.
To get the final Proficiency level, you’ll need 2 Whetstone, 2 Iron, 2 Tempered Iron, and 1 Tamahagane.

To reach the final Proficiency, you’ll need the following items: 5 Malicite, 2 Byakue’s Talisman, 2 Dohatsu-ten’s Horn, and 3 Malicite Mass.
