Sirius Dice is providing supplemental treasures to Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming Star Trek crossover. A full line of officially licensed collectible dice and tabletop accessories has been revealed.
The collection arrives alongside the MTG set, giving players several new ways to show off tributes to their iconic ships, factions, and characters in their tabletop adventures. They're scheduled to launch this November during Star Trek’s big 60th anniversary blowout, and include oversized spindown life counters and a series of miniature dice cups inspired by different corners of the Star Trek universe.
The Magic: The Gathering Star Trek treasure packs are positioned as the centerpiece of the offerings. Each $7.99 pack contains one oversized 25mm SPINDOWN Life Counter d20 and either a premium acrylic token sheet with Magic‑compatible counters or a standard‑card‑size acrylic creature token. There are 25 collectible d20 designs across Common, Rare, and Legendary rarities, which gives players and collectors a new surprise element to introduce while cracking regular booster packs.
Sirius Dice is also releasing two oversized 55mm SPINDOWN Life Counters featuring the U.S.S. Enterprise and the Klingon Bird‑of‑Prey. Each one is priced at $54.99 and includes a detailed, painted ship suspended inside clear resin with silver numbering. They are still functionally designed to fit as life counters during play, but many will probably want to keep them safe as display.
On top of all of this, there are also the Miniature Dice Cups to round out the lineup. Each of the $19.99 blind packs includes one randomized cup and two Magic counter dice. The cups feature designs based on major Star Trek factions and cultures, including the United Federation, Starfleet, Vulcans, Klingon Empire, Romulan Empire, Borg Collective, Ferengi, Bajorans, and Cardassians. The rarest cup in the series is a chase design inspired by Q, giving enthusiasts of the immortal's hijinks an additional target to hunt for.
This crossover arrives during a period where Star Trek’s eras are receiving renewed attention thanks to Wizards’ upcoming expansions in addition to the prequel series Strange New Worlds. Much of the art tied to the Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek set highlights classic ships, uniforms, and characters from the 1960s series with chic, and Sirius' treasure collection seems to have the same love and attention put to it.
While some interpretations of later eras, such as the Borg or certain Next Generation characters, have likenesses that feel slightly off, the original crew has never looked better in Magic’s visual style. I could take or leave some of the designs of common cards, but I cannot wait to try to collect the original series cast in some format. I have not been this excited about a Magic set since the Lord of the Rings crossover first launched.
With the Star Trek card set arriving in November and a full slate of themed events scheduled throughout the season, these accessories give players another way to celebrate the crossover. Whether used in play or collected for display, the Sirius Dice lineup adds a new layer of Star Trek flair to Magic’s latest universe‑beyond‑the‑multiverse release.
