Sony has announced the pre-order date and special editions for God of War Laufey, and one of them comes with a highly anticipated item, as the breakout character can be customized by the player.
God of War Laufey follows Kratos' deceased wife, who is trapped in the Everywhen, a realm of dead gods from various mythologies. She must escape from this hellish land using her combat skills, as well as relying on the help of Phranque, a square blob straight out of a low-level Dungeons & Dragons campaign, who rams enemies with his majestic form, aiding Laufey in battle against divine beings and monsters alike.
The official PlayStation Blog has announced that pre-orders for God of War Laufey will open on September 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time, with the full version of the game launching on February 16, 2027. Like most modern AAA games, God of War Laufey has multiple editions and pre-order bonuses, with one likely to excite fans of its debut trailer.
Those who pre-order any version of God of War Laufey will receive several cosmetic items, including the Last Wish Armor Set for Faye, some in-game resources, but more importantly, a set of cosmetics for Phranque.
