Halloween: The Game's single-player experience has a bunch of challenges that you can complete, all of which yield rewards and cosmetics. While some of these challenges are definitely straightforward, others require you to find certain items and then use them to kill your targets. This is the case with Challenge 3 of Chapter 1, tasking you to kill any target with the broken pool cue. Here's a quick guide to getting this challenge done, one which includes all pool cue locations.
To kill any target in Chapter 1 of Halloween: The Game with the Broken Pool Cue, you will need to find and pick up the Sharp Pool Cue weapon. With the item equipped, you can then do one of two things. The first is to use your light attack to stab a Biker or any other resident to kill them. This will get the challenge done just fine, though you do run the risk of getting swarmed.
By far, the easiest and quickest way to get this challenge done is instead to use a heavy attack. To do so, hold the heavy attack button to aim the Sharp Pool Cue at your target. This is typically done with the right click on mouse, or the left trigger on controller. Once you have your target in sight, release the heavy attack button to impale them with the Pool Cue, instantly killing them and wrapping up the challenge.
Completing the 'kill any target with the broken pool cue' challenge will reward you with Background 40 for your Player Card, allowing you to show it off to other players.
