Even though the MMO formula might not suit every player, Aion 2’s solo-focused PvE instances could be worth checking out for the ambitious flying layer alone, while the promise of over 200 dungeons available at launch hints at hundreds of hours of potential playtime.
Another major open-world expansion coming soon, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is poised to breathe new life into the base game, adding the snowy northern region of Norgan and a brand-new storyline revolving around powerful forgotten relics. From new colossal monsters to fight to vast locations brimming with secrets, Capcom has repeatedly stated that the expansion is quite big.
Alongside the new Norgan adventures, Dark Arisen enriches the base game’s world with additional content, including dungeon challenges known as the Lost Rites, so there are even more reasons to continue playing through NG+ cycles. October 9 also marks Dragon’s Dogma 2’s debut on Nintendo Switch 2, featuring 60 fps support.
