Target has quietly confirmed another Pokemon 30th anniversary event for late September 2026. Set to take place across numerous Target locations, the nationwide promotion will add to the ever-growing list of 2026 Pokemon celebrations.
The upcoming event is far from Target's first promotion geared toward celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic pocket monsters. That wider slate has included a dedicated Pokemon 30th Anniversary collection, which was made available in several stages beginning in spring.
According to Target's official event page, the next celebration in the series will take place on September 27, running from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at most participating stores. Attendees will be able to draw their own Pokemon TCG card, take themed photos, and participate in various giveaways while supplies last. Select locations will also host demos of the hit Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive Pokemon Pokopia. Target is additionally advertising Pokemon merchandise and games as part of the four-hour event.
