Ubisoft has detailed what you can expect from the next Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced update on PS5, which is going live tomorrow, 1st September 2026.
It's a 1.53GB download on the PS5 and comes with new visual changes like the ability to hide your pistols, the removal of glints from perk effects, and another new pet you can add to the Hideout. I'll let the patch notes speak to all the bug fixes and minor updates, but this seems to be a small patch for fixes under the hood rather than one packing brand new content.
On social media, Ubisoft also responded to fan questions surrounding New Game+ and confirmed the feature is still in the works.

On top of hiding the blowpipe, we have now given the option to hide Pistols as well!
Trinkets and their perks are great, but their glow can really make Edward stand out. You can now disable any unwanted visual perk effects.
Word has it there’s a furry friend in need of rescuing, somewhere across the Caribbean. Make sure you give him a good pet when you find him, because he may just join you at the ‘Hideout’ later.
